SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
 

* All submissions must be received by December 31, 2026. No late entries will be accepted.
 

* Playwrights selected for the festival will be notified by a member of the commitee.

* Submissions should be between 9 to 12 minutes in length.

​

* New (unproduced) plays are encouraged but not required.

​

* This year’s theme for the event is “THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS.”  The judges will consider how well the play incorporates the theme in a relevant manner.

​

* There are no submission fees.  Playwrights may submit up to 3 plays for consideration.

No royalties, prize money or compensation will be paid.

​

​

* Only electronic (email) entries will be accepted. A separate cover page should accompany the script, and should include the name of the play, as well as the playwright’s name, address, email, and phone number. The cover page and accompanying information must be included as a separate attachment. No playwright identifying information should appear within the script. A summary is permitted but not required.

* No hardcopy submissions will be accepted.

​

* Cast size should be limited to 4 characters and must contain dialogue.

​

* No monologues or one-character plays will be accepted.

​

* Set and lighting requirements should be minimal.

​

* Plays should be submitted in pdf format (script separate file from cover/title page).

​

* Any submissions not meeting the entry requirements will not be considered.

​

* Playwrights with a play chosen for the festival will be offered a short bio in the playbill and will receive two complimentary tickets to a performance.
