A.C.T. STUDIO THEATRE'S COVID-19 POLICY
UPDATED JUNE 2, 2022

The health and safety of A.C.T.’s audience, performers, production crew and community are our top priority.  We are united in policy with the other local live performance theaters in the area to ensure that we all create a safe environment for our talent, staff, volunteers, and audiences.

COVID UPDATE:  The CDC has determined Martin and

surrounding counties to be COVID-19 "HIGH RISK" areas as of 6/2/22.

Therefore, masks are required of all attendees.

TO OUR PATRONS:

  • PLEASE STAY HOME IF YOU are not feeling well, have any COVID symptoms, have had a positive COVID test, or you were exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the last ten days.

  • Let us know as soon as possible by leaving a detailed message on our ticket line at 772-932-8880.  A.C.T. will exchange your ticket(s) for a later performance or different play, or we will refund your ticket purchase.

A.C.T. ENCOURAGES ATTENDEES TO MASK:

Patrons: A.C.T. Studio Theatre encourages all attendees to mask while on A.C.T. premises to protect yourself and those around you.  The CDC recommends that individuals at high risk for severe illness from COVID-19 (those people 65 and over, and those who are immunocompromised) should mask, properly covering both nose and mouth at all times while at indoor public spaces to protect themselves.  Face coverings should be consistent with CDC guidelines.  We will have disposable face masks available.

Actors/performers during audition:  Face masks may be worn during auditions, with exceptions determined by the show Director during the audition process.

Actors/performers during rehearsals:  Face masks may be worn during rehearsals, with exceptions determined by show Director/Producer.

Actors/performers during live performances:  Will not be masked.

Theatre staff:  Face masks will be worn at all times to protect the public.  An exception to this is when patrons are not present in the facility and all present agree to the removal of masks.

A.C.T. will be using MERV A/C filters and an air purifier equipped with a HEPA filter

A.C.T. realizes we cannot eliminate all risks to those coming to our venue.  It is the personal responsibility of every patron, performer, show director, production crew member and community volunteer to protect themselves against COVID-19.

Whenever people gather in public places, there is a risk of exposure to COVID-19.  By attending or being involved in an event, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists and that you assume the risks related.

We will continue to follow the CDC guidelines and update A.C.T.'s policy as needed.

In the meantime, we are excited to once again present intriguing live theater entertainment.
