SYNOPSIS

Playwright, William Inge, received critical acclaim for his first play, Come Back Little Sheba, and PICNIC won Inge a Pulitzer Prize, The Drama Critic Circle Award, The Outer Circle Award, and The Theatre Club Award. Several of his plays made it to the silver screen.

In 1960, Inge’s first screenplay, Splendor in the Grass was filmed in New York. Splendor in the Grass was a triumph for Inge and won him an Academy Award for Best Screenplay.

Bus Stop is a blend of comic and serious themes that explore love, loneliness, coming of age and sacrifice. All that in a small mid-western diner snowed in at a Bus Stop.
